iptables 1.2.8 for RedHat 8.0 (extended)

[ Back to: Lowth.com ]

This RPMS are EXPERIMENTAL (be warned!). They contain iptables 1.2.8 built against a linux kernel patched with patch-o-matic to include a number of the unsupport "hidden treasures" of iptables.

  • iptables-pom - is the patch-o-matic directory, configured to install in /usr/src
  • iptables-devel - is the libipq library that allows writing of user space QUEUE modules
  • The others are just the standard RPMs but with the extra modules required to support string and time matches (and some others).
Please consider this to be work in progress - it is part of a larger project to provide P2P traffic filtering for iptables etc, allowing Kazaa and other P2P traffic to be filtered by an iptables based firewall.

The "md5sum" strings are shown in the "description" column
